EXCITING NEWS ROTARY CLUB CENTER- BETTER
Rotary International wants to share with you some exciting information that may affect you, and your current and incoming club officers.

A new and improved Rotary Club Central will make its debut in July. To meet Rotarians’ growing needs, the updated platform will be more robust, with improved functions for goal reporting and a better user experience through faster, easier navigation. Other new features include:
  • A modern interface
  • Access on your mobile device
  • Easy-to-read charts and graphs to present past and current club data
  • The ability to enter giving goals for The Rotary Foundation in local currency
  • An improved, simplified way to track service activity
  • Easier access to data for viewing goal progress district-wide
Rotary Club Central will continue to be an essential tool for clubs to plan and track membership initiatives, service activities, and Foundation giving, in addition to goals specifically for the Rotary Citation.

All data now in Rotary Club Central will automatically move to the new platform. Clubs and districts will not lose any past or current data because of the upgrade. As the start date approaches, we will provide training materials for you and your club officers.

For more information about the Rotary Club Central upgrade, go to My Rotary.

Best regards,
Jim Barnes

The Rotary Brand Center has not been functioning correctly. Until the new platform is available here is a "work around" for  Rotary images (not templates or documents.) Google Search Image perhaps -  RIGHT click on top of the image that you want to capture, Save As an image to your computer. You can also do the same on Rotary International Brand Center typically by using the right click on top of the image.
If you have a Mac it will  function similarly.  You can configure your mouse in the System Preferences to have a right click or on most Mac keyboards hold down the Ctrl key and then click your Mac mouse on top of the image you want to download. ( Don't confuse the Ctrl key with the Alt (or Option) key. The Ctrl key on a Mac is not the one next to the space bar, it's at the far end of the keyboard, on either the right or left side.)

Final Issue - Wrapping-up another extraordinary year at District 5500  (2016-2017). Thank you DG Sheryl for giving me this opportunity to get our District news out to the club members.

It's been so much fun working with the clubs and clubs' project chairs.
I hope the club members have enjoyed this District 5500 monthly newsletter. Thank you all for submitting your articles by the due date. This made it possible for me to have the newsletter available to the clubs for Sheryl by the 1st of the month.
