EXTENDED DUE DATE!

Rotary District 5500 - 2023 IMAGINE Awards

The 2022-2023 Rotary International Theme is “IMAGINE Rotary”. This theme invited us to try innovative approaches, connect to others and new audiences and to tell our story. The 2022-2023 District Theme challenges us to Inspire others through ways that Empower and Engage them and seek fun and Enjoyment while serving them. The 2023 Awards are a combination of the two themes and seek to recognize and honor our clubs and for achieving excellence, inspiring others and making a positive change in our communities and around the world achieving a Rotary Year well done.

Every club in the district is strongly encouraged to seek the INSPIRE Award, recognition for a member of their club who has Inspired them and others with whom they have had contact. Every club is also invited to apply for at least one award out of the following seven: Service, Fundraising, Member Attraction, Member Retention and Engagement, Empowering Girls, Advancing DEI and Having Fun. In fact, a club can apply to as many of these seven areas as they would like.

Award Forms are Due May 22.

Everyone nominated for the INSPIRE Award will be recognized at the Awards Event in June, and three individuals will be named to receive the “2023 DISTRICT INSPIRE AWARD.” In each of the other seven award areas, three clubs will be selected in each area AS THE BEST in that category. All awards will be presented on June 25, 2023, at the joint District Club Celebration hosted by DG Anita and the Installation Ceremony for DGE Don. DG Anita and DGE Don are planning a fun event at the Gaslight Theatre and are looking forward to celebrating the awards and his installation with attendees from every club in the district.
