Join us in making history! Come volunteer for Tucson Rodeo's first recycling program.

Rotary Club of Tucson Verde has partnered with the Tucson Rodeo to make their 99th year greener by diverting plastic and aluminum cans from the landfill. This is your chance to make a real impact and contribute to a sustainable future for our community.

Why Volunteer?

  • Contribute to environmental sustainability in our community.
  • Be a recycling hero by ensuring all plastic goes to the ByFusion plastic building block program.
  • The proceeds from aluminum cans will be used for a grant that is matched by the Rotary Foundation Rotary International and will support local programs.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Volunteers will be manning 22 disposal stations, each equipped with Recycle Bins for Cans & Plastic.
  • Your role is to guide people in disposing of items and ensuring they go in the appropriate containers.
  • Bring gloves, as you may need to relocate items mistakenly placed in the wrong bins.
