Would your club consider donating to this fund? $100, $250, $1,000 - could make a huge difference in your community by supporting vocational students. We are working toward a goal, we know we can achieve if we have some additional help from the District 5500 Rotary clubs and members. We currently have a shortfall of a little over $50,000. Our goal is $300,000. Total Funded from July 2020 through April 2021 is $201,841.50.
Watch closely, vocational training is the new direction for many young students as well as older adults.
THIS PROGRAM REALLY WORKS TO GIVE STUDENTS LESS FORTUNATE A CHANCE FOR SUCCESS!

Welcome to our new TRVFA advocate: Mike Suba from the Yuma area. Mike understands how AZ Tax Credits up to $800 married/$400 single can go directly to TRVFA.
The Rotary Vocational Fund of AZ (TRVFA) was created to give students an opportunity to realize their dreams. Through completion of vocational training, they can look forward to earning a living wage to support themselves and their families. Donate directly online
~ANNUAL FUND UPDATE DGN Anita McDonald
As we enter the final month of this Rotary year, we review the Annual Fund (share) contributions. We do this in order to estimate the level of funding that will be available to the district in three years to support our district and global grants program. As you may know, approximately ½ of our district contributions to the Annual Fund are returned to the district in three years for this purpose. Therefore, we want to encourage clubs to make one final push this month to support the Annual Fund and make an investment in our district’s local and global projects.
We want to recognize the following clubs that have already exceeded the Annual Fund goals they set for this year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Catalina, Marana, Old Pueblo, Oro Valley, Rio Rico, Saddlebrook, Saddlebrook Sunrise, Sierra Vista West, Kino, Presidio, Tucson Sunrise, and Valle Verde.
