Youth Exchange Needs YOU! 🫵

Please consider sponsoring an inbound student. It’s a great opportunity for your club and community to know more about a different culture from the perspective of a Rotary Exchange Student. You do not need an outbound student in order to host an inbound student. Host families do not need to be Rotarians.

The Rotary Youth Exchange program could use your help to market the various youth exchange programs on social media, to recruit students for exchanges, both long-term and short-term, camps and tours.

Verify Your Numbers

The 2023-2024 Rotary year is quickly coming to an end. It's time to work with your district and club leaders to reconcile your membership numbers. Working with the RI Compare feature within your membership management platform (DACdb or Club Runner) will yield the best results. Errors can occur simply by checking the wrong box, thus holding up the membership process. What does all this mean?

Important Action Items for Club Officers
Besides the usual Goal Setting and Officer/Member synchronizing which each club needs to do with Rotary International at MyRotary.org or through ClubRunner or DACdb prior to the new Rotary Year beginning 1 July, there are still several D5500 clubs which have not gone to My.Rotary.org and edited the Club Management Systems Vendors list at the bottom of your Club Information page to set View-Only Access Level for DACdb. For more detailed directions on doing this, click the Read More button.

To continue to receive communications from D5500 and to be able to apply for 2024-25 District Grants this must be done by an authorized club officer (President or Secretary) BEFORE 30 June 2024, regardless of whether your club intends to switch to DACdb or not.  For help, contact Leo@Lawrenson.com.

Almost There! Corazon - International Opportunity

October 26, 2024

What do RC Oro Valley, Dove Mountain, Sierra Vista, Tucson and SaddleBrooke Clubs have in common? They will all be coming together in October 2024 to participate in a Turn Key International Project called "Corazon - Build a House in a Day". We thank RC Oro Valley and Dove Mountain for their recent commitment. It's not too late for your Club to help. We need a commitment of $1500, that's all before we have reached our $15,500 goal. This is a perfect opportunity to participate in a One Day international project with other Clubs. All it takes is a small commitment of cash and/or some labor and it's all organized by someone else! Follow this link for a 6 minute video: https://vimeo.com/295461869
