Rotary and UNICEF Celebrate a Milestone

Rotary and UNICEF observed a momentous milestone on January 31: Rotary’s cumulative support to UNICEF reached US$1 billion!!

This successful partnership has worked to reduce polio cases by 99.9% since 1988 and remains committed to continuing efforts to make the world polio-free.

UNICEF issued a video (click here) thanking Rotary’s 1.4 million members for their dedication to eradicating polio. Use this video to share with prospective members and the public the kind of work Rotary members do around the world!

A New Name for the Rotary Citation

Starting July 1, the Rotary Citation will be known as the Club Excellence Award.

The RI Board approved this change to better convey the award’s purpose as a recognition of club achievement. The requirements for Rotary clubs remain the same.

Also beginning July 1, Rotaractors can set their goals and report their achievements in Rotary Club Central to earn the Club Excellence Award.

Almost There! Corazon - International Opportunity

October 26, 2024

What do RC Oro Valley, Dove Mountain, Sierra Vista, Tucson and SaddleBrooke Clubs have in common? They will all be coming together in October 2024 to participate in a Turn Key International Project called "Corazon - Build a House in a Day". We thank RC Oro Valley and Dove Mountain for their recent commitment. It's not too late for your Club to help. We need a commitment of $1500, that's all before we have reached our $15,500 goal. This is a perfect opportunity to participate in a One Day international project with other Clubs. All it takes is a small commitment of cash and/or some labor and it's all organized by someone else!
