Maui Relief Update

The outpouring of support from Rotarians in D5500 and around the world has been phenomenal. Rotarians of District 5000 (Hawaii) are on Maui helping at shelters, finding housing, moving supplies, and more. Relief funds are arriving from Rotarians everywhere.

"The power of Rotary is real," says District Governor Mark Merriman, D5000. "I appreciate your sincere love, care and concern."

District 5500 - A Culture of Care

District Governor Don is asking District 5500 Rotarians to help create a culture of care throughout the district by making mental health a priority through a District 5500 Mental Health Initiatives Action Group. We have a few members already interested, and we need additional volunteers from across the district to join in. If you are interested, please contact DG Don at

Introducing the Rotaract Services Auction!

Posted by Kanita Olson, UofA Rotaract Club President

Rotaractors will be auctioning off repeating and special auction items to Rotarians to raise money for our larger service projects, such as IT support, promotional flyers, seasonal services, and more.

Rotaract is launching a new fundraiser idea of auctioning off our services to Rotarians and their clubs to raise funds for service projects such as our annual Dental Distribution where we distribute dental bags to elementary students at Title 1 schools. Last year we were able to donate more than 700 bags and would like to do this again!
