TRVFA Needs Your Help

Club contributions statewide have slowed compared to last year - $29,070 so far this year versus $80,881.74 for the entirety of last year.  While the 2023 tax credit deadline has passed, now is still a good time for individuals to make a contribution to TRVFA for the 2024 tax year.

Funds are available for future grants though somewhat limited. For the first time in the last few years, we may have to halt the acceptance of new applications temporarily if our reserves drop below a benchmark established by our board at our April board meeting.  National authorities have concluded that vocational study participation has increased by sixteen percent. Time for ALL ROTARIANS TO HELP!

Does Your Club Meet the Needs of Your Members and Your Community?

Service clubs are an American innovation that have evolved into worldwide institutions. While many clubs are vibrant and growing across the globe, the loss of membership here in the United States represents a loss of social capital and civic engagement, to the detriment of our communities.

Today club members are constrained by lack of time. Potential and current members look for activities and organizations that can add to the quality of their lives and allow them to have an immediate impact on problems that interest them in their communities. They may not see much use in investing their time with an organization that doesn’t meet these needs.

The organizations and their clubs who will grow are the ones that do meet these needs. Is your club one of them?

Almost There! Corazon - International Opportunity

October 26, 2024

What do RC Oro Valley, Dove Mountain, Sierra Vista, Tucson and SaddleBrooke Clubs have in common? They will all be coming together in October 2024 to participate in a Turn Key International Project called "Corazon - Build a House in a Day". We thank RC Oro Valley and Dove Mountain for their recent commitment. It's not too late for your Club to help. We need a commitment of $1500, that's all before we have reached our $15,500 goal. This is a perfect opportunity to participate in a One Day international project with other Clubs. All it takes is a small commitment of cash and/or some labor and it's all organized by someone else! Follow this link for a 6 minute video: https://vimeo.com/295461869
