Several of you have inquired about how to help the victims of Hurricane Ian. RI Director Vicki Puliz has provided the following information. Our District is creating a two-minute marketing/promotion video featuring the great service projects of our clubs in our communities and across the globe.
When completed in early 2023 it will be available to all our Clubs at no cost to support your promotion and communication efforts.
The District 5500 Video will feature signature Service Projects of as many clubs as possible. Photos or videos of Rotarians as “People of Action” are preferred. Deadline for submission: November 22nd.
Here are the details:
- It’s best that photos and video are high-resolution - a minimum of 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high. Larger than that is okay.
- Please limit raw video to 10 minutes or less.
- Please make sure that photo and video files are labeled as to what they depict.
- Include identifying information about your project:
- Name of participating Club(s)
- Purpose / Title of project
- Results of project if available
This info can be provided in a Word doc accompanying the photo/video files, or in the body of an email.
- Options for submitting the materials:
- Photos can be emailed to steve@familylegacyvideo.com. (Steve is a member of the Catalina (Tucson) Rotary Club.)
- For video, it’s best to upload the clips (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and send a download link to the same email address - steve@familylegacyvideo.com. Photos can also be sent this way.
- Photos & video can be copied to a PC-compatible flash drive and sent by U.S. Mail to:

We are happy to announce that the second round of District Grant applications from $250-$2,000 is open on a first come, first served basis. If you have a current District Grant, a
Final Report must be filed and approved before submitting a new grant application. All Final Reports must be received within 60 days of completion or by May 1, 2023.
