Congratulations to the District 5500 Graduate from the Arizona Rotary Leadership Academy’s (RLA), Class of 2022-23 (Gene Medina, otivar2@gmail.com)
As Dean of the Arizona RLA, I am pleased to announce that Steve Johns of the Sierra Vista Sunrise Rotary Club successfully completed the Arizona Rotary Leadership Academy’s course of study and graduated in May 2023. For six months of this Rotary year, he worked both online and via Zoom to explore Rotary leadership through the Academy’s six courses.
RLA is intended to be the Rotary graduate program follow-up to the three levels of Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) and follow-up learning opportunity for past club presidents. It is a source for linking talented Rotarians to the leadership needs of our district. Through these courses and conversations with one another and faculty RLA students deepen their Rotary knowledge and skills and enhance their leadership talents.
When you see Steve at a club meeting or district activity/event, please be sure to congratulate him on his outstanding accomplishment. It is truly significant.
If you are interested in expanding your Rotary leadership knowledge, understandings and skills and learn about the
Arizona Rotary Leadership Academy (RLA), a leadership learning partnership between District 5500 and District 5495,
simply check out its website, www.arizonarla.org. It could be a great fit for you as a Rotary leader.
