Oro Valley Hosts Joint Meeting with Dove Mountain

After attending PETS, incoming President Elect Steven Witthoeft set a goal to invite each Club in Region 6 to hold a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Oro Valley.  That first meeting took place on Tuesday, August 4, 2022, at the Holiday Inn Express on Oracle Road.  Following a fellowship supper with submarine sandwiches, the two Clubs held a joint meeting to explore possibilities for joint service projects or fundraisers.
Steven Witthoeft, now the President of the Oro Valley Club, opened the discussion by sharing some of the service projects and fundraisers his Club had done in the past.

Next, Prudy Abeln, President of the Dove Mountain Club, shared her Club’s previous service projects and fundraisers.

Then, members of both Clubs shared ideas for working together.  The Clubs are now exploring a joint fundraiser.
