~NEW INTERACT CLUB
Tucson United Interact Community Interact Club
So excited we got that first meeting under our belts.  President Connor told us that 5 kids couldn’t attend because of a track event.
The Tucson United Interact Club had its first “official” meeting on the 15th.  Salpointe and Catalina Foothills (HS, MS, and Elem) were all represented. The energy was contagious and the students are looking forward to getting organized and finding projects to get involved in.  Please contact Natasha (yirnatasha@gmail.com) if your club needs help with upcoming projects and/or if you know a student anywhere in the District that wants to be a part of this community-based club.  Charter is pending approval at RI.

~HOW TO PROPERLY SET UP A ROTARY HYBRID MEETING
DISTRICT 5500 CLUBS NEED GUIDANCE

The global pandemic impacted Rotary Clubs like an unfettered hurricane!  Now, we see hope on the horizon for a return to normal – or whatever our new normal will look like.  Many of our clubs are considering hybrid club meetings – offering both on-site (in person) and online experiences.  The challenge is how best to do that and what is needed for an effective hybrid meeting.

How to manage a hybrid club meeting will be the topic for discussion at the weekly Dove Mountain Rotary Club online meeting Thursday, April 15, from 5:15-6:15 PM.  Corey Lopardi, Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Zone 27, will be the presenter.  Any Rotarian in District 5500 can join the Zoom meeting by contacting President Teree Bergman, Dove Mountain RC, by email and asking for the meeting link.  Teree’s email is luvgoldens@me.com. Register today! This you do not want to miss!

~PLEASE DON'T REPLY ALL
We do want everyone to hear and see us but REPLY ALL can be quite a nuisance. Consider the amount of email that appears in all our inboxes every day. Reply to only the sender unless you really feel EVERYONE needs to see your emoticon or single response. Be considerate of everyone when sending email messages.
 Email Etiquette 101.

SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR YOUR COMMUNITY - DON'T MISS OUT!
On Valentine’s day, we announced a great opportunity for all our District 5500 clubs to show your community some "Rotary Love" at this much-needed time.
Due to the many changes in planned District events this year, and therefore, the respective budgets, the District is offering clubs in "good-standing" up to $500 for a special project your board identifies to help your community.
We have immediate money available to fund your special Rotary Love project.
